Is it time to chop them down? Newbie needs advice

  1. Hi this is my first grow. I only have two plants. I planted them outdoors June 10th. I think the bigger one is ready for me to harvest but not quite sure. I also want to know if anyone knows what strain they are. Here are my pictures.

  2. Atleast 3/4 of ur hairs on the plant need be brown and all. Cant really distinct a strain by photos either besides being indica or sativa

  3. Neither of those plants look ready yet. But the only surefire way to tell when they're ready is to get a jewler's loupe or any magnifier of that sort and check the color of the trichomes on the buds
     
  4. amber colored tricombs if ya cant get your hands on pocket microscope just wait to some of those big water leaves die off or at least start to die then its time unless of course your leaves are dying for outher reasons than the buds sucking up all the nutes if your plant is healthy around week 6 of bud depending on strain and your big water leaves start to die off that is normal
