Is it safe/possible to use an HPS bulb on a MH ballast?

    I have a 250W MH ballast and was wondering if I could use a 250W HPS bulb later on for flowering? Or perhaps a 150W HPS for my 250W MH ballast?

    Yea they run off the same ballast just diff bulbs , as far as I know , wattage needs.to match or have a dimmable digi ballast
