Is it really worth it? (ROOR bong)

Discussion in 'Beginner Cannabis Consumption & Tips' started by witerabit, Dec 9, 2010.

  1. Hi, I am currently looking at a ROOR bong with the following dimensions for $175.
    ROOR Icemaster 5.0
    Size 45cm
    Weight 900grams
    Glass thickness 5mm
My question is, "Is it worth it?".
Let me know if you need any more info.

    Peace

  2. my question is.

    is it real?

  3. u must experience the roor to truly understand how worth it it rlly is my friend....

  4. This.
$175 seems a little cheap for a roor like this.

  5. Let me google that for you

For 175$ if it's real. Why not?

I paid 220 for my RooR. It's prolly the best investment I've made so far regarding pot products.

  6. exactly wat i thought as well...

  7. Yeah the cheapest roor i saw in a headshop was 250 and it was only 12 inches with no ice catcher.

  8. Why is Roor so hyped? They don't even have diffused downstems? So it's think quality glass but dang for the price they are sold at you can get a sick setup... I guess I would rather spend my money on a functional bong instead of a label.

  9. German ones are actually very high quality,

but yes you are paying for the label and brand name just like with any other product on planet earth

  10. no....

no on so many levels, jesus christ all roors are equivalent to designer jeans over levi's or wranglers....

for real, just look at the actual tubes themselves, and make sure you buy a good downstem. If all your really looking at buying is a straight tube with icepinches there is literally no reason to buy a roor, or any other brand name tube.

Now, that being said if your looking to get an inline, or something with percs, then by all means by something that suites you, still though shop around. There are many other glass makers whose prices fall far under roor glass and whos percs are just as good if not better. Plus there is a higher rate of fakes among roors, simply because they are the higher price tag.

good investment buyin a tube tho, but i would stay away from roors. I've got Zob and a Kind Creations tubes and they hit better then competing roors ive tried.
