  1. Hi Everyone,

After all the good tips all of you gave me for my honeymoon in New Orleans, I come back wondering.....

Want to go to Amsterdam with our 17 year old son....

What\'s the deal about him in a coffee shop with us?

Will he be in trouble or shall we.....?

    Any clue?

I know coffee shops can\'t sell anything to an underage people, but what about if he just stays with us?

    Thx in advance

    Dr Spock

  2. as far as i know you can\'t set foot in one till you\'re 18

i\'m (*EDIT RMJL)and i managed to get in and buy weed when i went to Den Haag.

you could try and get him in if you want i guess. they\'ll just ask for id if they think he\'s underage, and then you\'ll just leave. no biggy

a reply from someone who actually lives there would be cool tho.

and by the way... you should\'ve posted this in the normal ganj forum.more peeps will read it.

  3. if he can pass for 18 youll probably be alright

  4. It will not be possible, the good places you want to go for in amsterdam for example, they will ask you for an ID of your son, the point is the even the smallest misstep will get these shops closed. What you can do is get in yourself and buy and smoke outside, I know it\'s not the experience you are looking for, but that is how the situation is know in amsterdam, believe me I know !!

    Check out my PM

  5. OH man, SJ.

I\'d be happy to go outside and smoke.

    Happy indeed!

Too bad you\'re so far away though. :(

  6. and thats why I love holland.

  7. thx for all the replies -

is it 18 for entry or just for buying weed?

Can he sit with us if we are smoking and he is not?

Think the answer is no - but would like any more tips!
