was wondering if i purchase a clone or 2 from a dispensary can i put them in 5gal buckets outside or will the natural sunlight be too strong and kill them? also will a 5gal bucket be sufficient for the full life span in good outdoor cali light? thinking of trying my first very basic outdoor grow. thanks in advance!
You have to harden them off - essentially what you do is put them outside for a couple hours and them bring them back inside to artificial light, and increase the time a bit each day. Thing is, though, it's a bit late to plant outside at this point IMO (you're in cali, I assume, right?) unless you are going to give them supplemental lighting to keep them in veg longer.
