Is it possible to successfully mother an auto strain? How can I do this? Any suggestions on wat auto strain to use for this purpose? Thanx for any help
It is not possible to clone an auto. They are not in veg long enough before they switch to flowering to allow cloning.
easyryder is quickest plant i know of and if you do it in hydro you'll get monster yeilds (up to 4 oz) don't believe me? go to google and type in NFT hydro easyryder. click on the first link and sign into your rollitup account. that guy yeilded 20 oz off his 7 easyryders with the largest having around 4 zips on it.
LGM beat me to it. Were both growing Easy Ryders and there is good reason. (im gonna yield more per plant though... shhh dont tell him) Just so you dont get too excited, LGM is correct that some people have harvested up to 4oz per plant growing easy ryder but just like diet pill commercials the results aren't typical. Stated harvest for easy ryder is 30-50g per plant. It is possible to grow start to finish just using flouro. You would most likely use a mix of veg/flower spectrum bulbs throughout the grow since autos are only in veg for 2-3 weeks. If you do want to go Flouro remember that your looking at the actual wattage number when figuring how much light you need, not the equivalent wattage number. Cant comment on a difference in taste but I think the general consensus is that hydro allows for better control and thus better quality.
Thanx man. So you think the fluorescents would work good? Will it produce quality bud? Have you grown with fluorescent before?
I have never personally grown flouro however I have seen some people achieve good results using flouro's on easy ryders. You will produce quality bud as long as you do your research and pay attention to what your doing while growing. Im using a 600w HPS system with a hortilux bulb. its a 3'x3' area which will house 9 plants. You can check out more details using the link in my sig.
