I still have my plants in Veg 18 hours light 6 hours darkness and it seems as though one of the plants is showing male...is this possible!?
I know females can show pre-flowers in veg stage so I assume males can as well. Ther is still a chance it can be a hermie I suppose, but still probably time to kill it if you want seedless bud.
When plants reach maturity(about 8+ weeks) they will show their sex with pre flowers. My personal experience is that usually the females will show their sex(pistals, white hairs) first, while the males(ball on a stick,spade) may not show at the same time. At this time if their are male plants not showing sex they will not pollenate unless the full flowering cycle is induced with the 12/12 light cycle. Normally they say males will show sex first but, this rarely happens with my grows.
