Yea, leave the lights off for a 24 Hr period and switch the cycle, it will be fine and the temps will be lower than they would in the daytime.

 

i wanted to push my light cycle back about 6 hours.

what i did was change the timer an hour every day for 6 days. didnt not se any problems with the plants and they gave me some good bud

 

I have to do the same thing starting about mid April, cuz it gets so flippin hot here too. Just skip a cycle (go dark for 24 hrs.) and then proceed as normal. The extra dark won't hurt anything.
