  1. can i germ a seed then plant it right into a 3 gallon pot? im always reading that you should start in a small pot then put it into a bigger pot but what are the advantages of that?

has anyone had great success without transplanting and using a large pot from start to finish?

  2. No reason at all, but it is a lot of effort wasted if it turns out male.

I put my sprouts in 5 litre containers, then transplant the ladies into 11 UKgallon pots. The males go on the compost heap.

  3. cool, thanks.

can i re-use soil? i have soil i used on a seed that died right after it sprouted, can i re-use it? or have to use "fresh" soil?

edit: also, what soil should i use? can i use regular potting soil from seed to harvest?

  4. Yes, of course you can reuse soil. Farmers do!!!!

  5. thanks +rep
