Is it ok to inhale smoke from a wooden pipe?

Discussion in 'General' started by Dronetek, Sep 1, 2007.

  1. I've been smoking for years, but recently I broke my glass pipe. I'm going to get a new one, but in the meantime I've been smoking from a cheap $5.00 wooden tobacco pipe. Is it ok to smoke from a wooden pipe or is it extremely unhealthy? It seems like they wouldn't make the pipe out of wood if it was bad for you, but I figured most people use it for tobacco and not inhale.

    Thanks for the help!

  3. oh yeah as long as it aint poision ivy. i think a home carved wooden pipe lends a nice smokey campfire taste and smell to it. nice sometimes

  10. Wooden pipes is where it all started. Of course you can rip out of a wooden pipe.

  11. yeah, just be careful not to hold the flame on it too long or it will burn up and you'll inhale a lot of the wood smoke.:p

id recommend getting a screen (from a headshop or your sink), because the bowls on tobacco pipes are HUGE
