Is it normal to constantly hack and cough when taking dabs?

    I mean when I started smoking weed I did but I don't now. However my roommate just smokes dabs and has been for over a year, yet every time he smokes dabs he immediately starts hacking and coughing for a minute or two then spits in the trash can.

    I just smoke weed and don't have that issue anymore. Just wondering.

    Home made, made without being vacuum.
    Made at home with butane.
    Can you see bubbles in it ?
    Yes very normal to cough allot .

    I'm such a cougher when smoking, it's super embarrassing, yet alass it's very normal were probably just the 1%'rs
