I can sense that too, things do seem fake and corny like in television, it's easily to identify an fake person like if they aren't being honest, you know saying things just to impress people.
Yeah, I get what you mean. Kinda like some of the scenes in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. A really fake view of the people in some of the scenes, yet, so real.
