Is it just me?

    I've smoked on and off(mostly on) for the past 15 years. In my twenties I was a daily smoker and could always find a source within a week or two if I had to. In the last year I have concentrated on a career which means drug tests and now am settled into a good job where I have money and time to smoke. The only problem is it seems that everyone I talk to no longer does weed. They do meth or other things. I could care less about meth, crack, or anything that is an upper. I have too much energy naturally.
    What I mean by "is it just me" is am I the only one that finds that not as many people smoke weed as they did 5 to 10 years ago. Am I the only one that can find things I don't want anytime I want them but can't find any weed?

    i dunno man i havent been in the game for that long but to me it seems like weed is more popular than ever, i mean a shitload of ppl in the bay smoke, just my two cents.

    i dont really know that many who do meth, some who coke and some who shroom, but weed is pretty popular it seems

    i liv in the bay and weed is the most popular thing next to shrooms and thizz rite now cuz there is the hyphy movement out her' n da bay. haha. ive only dun weed and shrooms.

    yeah thizz totally slipped my mind, so many have hopped on the hyphy bandwagon and thizzed, i havent tried e yet but yeah it's popular as fuck along with weed.


    everyone wants purple, grapes, thizz

    A sort of "newbie" attitude is present in some careers, makes some people think doing meth or cocaine or any other "white shit" means they've "made it"

    In the Bay pretty much everyone I know smokes. It is a part of life.

    I can definetly relate. In my town it used to be so easy to get weed from anyone pretty much like 5 years ago but as soon as this kid I used to goto school with started dealin yay, the whole town went up in crack smoke.

    Similar situation cheiftain, after moving again, 6 months ago (my wife and I have been all over the western states). Seems the more time goes by, the people your age either have gotten married and were pressured to give it up, or they've moved onto harder shit. I have found it harder to make smoking friends the older I get, this time around has been a very long dry spell. This is when I'm finally at the point in life where I can kick back and smoke comfortably and relaxed without the paranoia and other shit that goes on when your younger. I drink some beers here and there, but would much rather be smoking, seems the lesser of two evils, imo. Growing seems to be too risky.

    Is their no one at you work you think may smoke. I've usually started off a conversation with someone I suspect may be a friendly smoker with this....
    "yeah I remember a time back in my younger days when some friends and I were smoking weed and ..." Then after you tell him the funny story hopefully he has one for you, then this leeds to the .... "Man I sure wish I could get me a little bit, I have an old friend coming to visit, and man it would be great to have some buds for the occasion, just like old times!" From here either things go good or bad, if bad just say.. "it was only a thought, I'd probably be too paranoid to smoke it if I had any anyhow".

    Most of the people I know went too far in either direction. Many are strictly sober now. Many take way to many e pills and coke. Its a self control issue, none of them have any self control so they are either on drugs or hiding from them. Only my core group of friends (about 5 of us) still just smoke weed. Im in the bay area so this lame ass hyphy shit really screwed us over. When I was a teen e pills were for homos and ravers. Now these rap guys are in love with them. I dont know how your going to walk around like your tough when you take the most feminine drug ever created.

    This will all pass. Marijuana is the only drug that sees almost no fluxuation in usage. E, coke, meth... all fads. Marijuana is so far beyond what they could ever be.
