I'm 18 and graduated high school and still dont have my damn license. However kids in high school can drive and whatnot. I feel bad because I can't take out my girlfriend. However, her friend's boyfriends can all drive. I feel like crap
I don't have my license, I'm 19 but I don't feel bad though. Just plan a day to go to the DMV, schedule and pay for the permit written test and if you pass then you should succeed from there.
i failed my damn road test last week. Need to wait two weeks. What sucks is that I waited in line from 12 in the morning for TWO days -______________-
I'm 21 and still can't drive, I'm not in the least bit embarrased though I really don't see how it is embarrasing. Annoying and inconvenient for me yes, but not embarrasing.
I don't either. Cars are expensive to run and I can't seem to find a job right now. I'm hoping that once high school starts there will be jobs open and I'll be able to find one. I'm in college, though, so that depends on how open I can make my schedule. I have a car, it's just insurance and gas that I can't afford yet, so it sucks, but I don't think it's embarrassing. Really, the high schoolers should be more embarrassed for mooching off their parents. lol
I know it's important at your age, but you shouldn't feel embarrassed. Love life and love your girl, everything else can wait. Oh and if it's any consolation, I failed my test twice.

Well, don't feel that way because you have two 19 year olds and a 21 year old here, so you're obviously not the only one.
haha thanks but theres this sophomore in high school who drives with only a permit, hes so lucky! My parents never let me do that
Yep plus I have a good 24 year old friend who can't drive either. Also whenever I use public transport about 80% of people on there are older than me, just take a bus ride and you'll see you're not the only one. Anyway go out and get your license but in the meantime instead of feeling embarrased just think about all the good you're doing for the environment, and how you never have to be the designated driver haha.

Umm get your license? Lol It's not that hard. What I hate more is being 19 and not having a car while them damn youngins, 16,17, have one because they're family is rich. Shit I know people who don't even have a license and already have a car. It's like bro, let me have it, you can't drive anyway.
I wouldn't say it's embarrassing, but questionable perhaps. My buddy is like 22 with no license and my gf is 18 and has had her license since she was 16 and drives us around. Me and my gf are sometimes like wtf dude? We bust his balls a little lol but there are plenty of people who get along fine without a license. I'm actually selling my car soon now that I'm in the city. Cant wait
