Is It Dependence?

  1. What do you guys think? Is it dependence if I frequently use marijuana as motivation to do my school work. It's like motivation to do my work and just get it out of the way so I can smoke and relax. I don't smoke IN ORDER TO do my work; in fact, I usually produce generally shitty work when I do. But it definitely changes my typical schedule like without weed, I would spend my entire weekday doing homework, watching tv, going back to hw, getting distracted by various things until my homework was done, and then I'd go to sleep. I would spread my hw out over the entire course of the night basically. WITH WEED though, I am typically able to knock out my hw in a few hours with minimal distractions, and then have a few more hours to relax after smoking. It doesn't sound so bad to me, but I was wondering what you guys think because I can see how some people would see a problem with that.

  2. And this is why stoners are C average students.

  3. 3.9 gpa actually, but thanks for the concern and relevant answer to my question

  4. I dont see what you want us to tell you? Obviously the answer lies within the question. Pointless thread...

  5. if you really have a 3.9GPA then why did you even ask...

what kind of school are you in...university/comm college/high school?
because that really determines what answer this deserves.

  6. Pretty sure I pluralized students and used the word average.

  7. It is like you stated - motivation. :smoke:

  8. well I'm more so looking for just a discussion really based on how our views (stoners in a stoner forum) might be different from an average non-stoner citizen. Obviously 90% of you guys will say nah man its chill whatever floats that boat just keep on rockin (lol sorry just joking around).

So I guess I'm asking how you guys feel about this on a larger scale, or maybe your own personal experiences, I'm not overly concerned with my usage.

  9. You're asking the wrong question. The right question is: can I stop? If the answer is no, then its dependence. Looks to me like you've got the control over it to use it as a reward for work so I doubt the answer is going to be no to that question.

  10. Guys, I'm so high. I totally did ask the wrong question. I went on a tangent and lost the true meaning of the question, which is what I rephrased in my last post.
