Is it cool to wear boardshorts?

    I started wearing shorts lately (I don't usually wear them). I don't like wearing khakis or denim shorts, and gym shorts make me feel like a geek. But boardshorts just feel awesome, even when I'm not swimming. I was wondering if its weird to wear boardshorts out in public.

    I was going to buy some from pacsun, but they're expensive as fuck.. $30-$50

    Don't see a problem with wearing them though :confused_2:

    Khaki shorts are pretty badass and look good with anything, also EVERYONE i know who wears shorts wears gym shorts (basketball, below the knee ) no matter what they are like.

    As long as it's summer it looks fine. But if you wear shit like that everyday than people are going to think you are a weirdo. I got some sick ass LRG boardshorts with weed plants all over them for my birthday check them out. It says "Support Organic Farming"

    ^ same on the basketball shorts. How old are you OP? I mean if your like 30 fine, but it's pretty normal for most guys to wear basketball shorts below the knee.
    Board shorts usually make me feel uncomfortable, but whatever you like go for it don't let what others think restrict you.

    I wear shorts year round, but only bother with board shorts in the summer. They're light and breathable. A t-shirt and flip flops and you're set. So yeah, it's fine to wear them in public.

    Do you like to wear them? If yes, go ahead. If no, don't. Jeez, kids these days... :rolleyes:

    But yeah it's fine to wear them in public, I do it too.

    absolutely no problem, definitely the most comfortable shorts. just don't fucking wear them with underwear like everyone does out here in CO :rolleyes:

    seriously people do that?

    I rock em from time to time, they're nice but I like the utility of pockets. one wont hold my phone, wallet, keys, and other stuff.

    Do you have any stores like Ross or TJ Max around you? I get all my boardshorts for < $20. I just got these ones in a different color for $12 :cool:

    I just get op brand board shorts for like 15 bucks at walmart.

    Gotta wear something when it's 90-100 out and they're the perfect thing.

    Bro I live in Canada. I got some local stores, they usually average 50 bucks a pair :(
