High temp last year was 103 and my fan is one of those stanleys. My first thought was that the fan would cool itself but it may get to 120 up there so im having second thoughts. thanks.
if you can help it, i wouldn't. heat thins oil, causes friction, causes wear. Also, there might be a fire risk if it gets too hot.
