Is it common etiquette to make people pay?

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by preewee, May 11, 2011.

  1. I buy the weed for my friends. If i smoke with like one other person i don't make them pay, but if like 5 people come over i usually make them pay me. Is this normal? Or do you just share w/o payment.

  2. Break his legs....

  3. Either make em pay (not a lot, obviously) or make em return the favor.
You can't be supplying every time, and not expect to get something in return.

  4. Sometimes. Of it was once in a while I wouldn't make people pay. But if it's an everyday occurrence. than it's only fair. It doesn't have to be money. Food and/or transportation is perfectly acceptable.

  5. Depends.

If its the close circle, we all usually match. I'd say over the years I have given out more than I have taken in, but it doesn't bother me. On the whole we all usually have each others backs. If I'm out, I get smoked up. If a friend is out, they get smoked up.

Now if I'm rolling a blunt and some people at a party want in, or want to join in the circle when a bowl is passed around, i'll ask what they can contribute. A beer, a couple bucks, whatever. But you don't just get free weed if I don't know you. especially a spot in the circle.
