Please help me tell weather or not my plant is Female, i am new to growing and this is my first plant so i am unsure how to tell, any other info on my plant would also be greatly appreciated as i am not very informed about my plant, thanks
definitely female. you can tell by the one or two white pistols comming out, easily seen in the first pic and the sixth. just look out for any sacs just in case ems is a hermie. looks nice though. how old is she and what kinda lights are you using?
@ yeahpiff i had her vegging for exactly 1 month and she has been on 12/12 for 17 days now, so shes getting close to two months old now. I am currently using 3 large 42 watt CFL's (Philips | 42 Watt Twister Soft White | Home Depot Canada) because have limited space as i am doing a closet grow. Its great news to hear its a female because i only have the one plant and would not have the time to start from fresh again .
another question for anyone who has time to answer, my plant is currently about 2 and a half feet tall and its getting really close to the top of its grow box. Its about 4 inch's away from the lights now. I cannot move it into a larger grow-space nor can i raise the lights. Will it stop growing when it gets close to the light? or will it keep growing into the lights? and will it burn the leafs if they touch the lights? If anyone can suggest anything to do with it other then topping it i would be open to any suggestions, thanks
