Is Insomnia Normal When You Dont Smoke For A Day Or Two?

Discussion in 'Beginner Cannabis Consumption & Tips' started by Health, Aug 17, 2014.

  1. I didn't smoke last night or tonight. I got caught up in some gaming and just didn't give it any thought. But I haven't been to sleep since Friday morning.

Come Sunday I will have been awake for 48 hours. I can't sleep. I've tried exercising, driving, eating large meals, and even jerking off. I'm just too hype and can't calm down. My eyes feel heavy but I can't go to sleep.

I'm not on a tbreak or anything. Would the best solution be to smoke? I'm running low however and I wouldn't be able to get more until Thursday. I have enough for one more bowl about .35 grams left.

  2. Jerking off was the last thing you tried? Would have been the first thing I tried..

But yes it's normal..one of the few effects of quitting suddenly. It only lasts a few days..probably a week at the most.

  4. So I've had that issue a number of times before when having to quit for whatever reason and I've found that a tiny hit like not a whole bowl but just a mini hit will calm it and allow you to fall asleep and then your body quits it when you go to sleep so you won't get insomnia again for the next day.

  5.
I put my ground up bud on a scale. It came up to .348

Here's a tutorial made by a group of marijuana dealers on how to solve sleep issues. It requires 1 friend.

In all seriousness, the most that has happened is that my sleeping schedule went completely haywire, literally flipped around; night became morning, day became night.

Have you considered getting over-the-counter sleeping pills? They work wonders.

Furthermore, your insomnia might not be caused by the lack of weed, but maybe by unrelated mental issues. Stress, anxiety, etc. Keep in mind the fact that I'm not a doctor, I'm only speaking from experience.
