I need some help. Was glycerine just a short fad? I know that it somewhat improved the smoke by cooling it down if you placed the gel in the freezer; but i also know it was a vastly overpriced addition to a bong and i just recently read (maybe on another thread.. can't remember where) that bongs have grown past the gel to more advanced percs and improvements. Here's the underlying question. Is a bong with glycerine a good purchase.. and more specifically, is this bong a good purchase (Aqua Lab).com /scientific-glass/pyrology-green-coil-with-double-showerhead-base.html disregarding the price, does the glycerine add all that much to the double showerhead? Thanks for the help. PS. excuse if this paragraph is somewhat incoherent.. as i began to type, more questions emerged. PPS. Aqua Lab says the gel is Propylene Glycol, is that the same thing as glycerine? PPPS. Also excuse my ignorance in if i posted something i wasn't supposed to.
I think a lot of people still support glycerine, but in my personal opinion good percs are more convenient and an ice catch can provide about the same level of cooling.
I just bought a glycerin as my end all for flowers and I have used pretty much every perc other than some of the heady mothership...
there pricey but I love mine and wouldn't trade it for anything if your thinking about getting a coil get it you won't regret it
