So I rarely use Facebook, but it's hard to not to notice a change when you get 50 people writing annoying "uguhuhug why does fb keep changing?@??" statuses. It now has a separate feed that shows you what your friends are doing, whether it be a like, comment, or wall post etcetc. So essentially, you can creep on people all hours of the day without having to scroll through pages of statuses, the fuck is this? On top of this, there still is the somewhat recently added "locations", which allows you to see where people are (if they sign in), and what they're doing there. Facebook used to be a good social networking site. You could set shit up with your friends, talk to people you haven't seen in a while, and do things these sites are designed to do. I just think it's getting way too fucking personal now, and Mark Zuckerberg needs to stop being a creepy little pervert. All you kids that are "too cool" for Facebook can keep your bullshit to yourself, mkay?
Yeah I hate the changes... It was fine when it first came out but they keep adding all these bullshit features... They gotta keep adding stuff so it doesn't get boring
I mean, I don't want to play the same game everyone else is, and making annoying statuses against the changes. But I completely agree, these changes aren't even close to necessary.
Its been too creepy for a long time. Ads all with my 'interests', Grammy sending me a FR, and facial recognition I said "peace" to FB a long time ago. Its a corporate cesspool of American sheep.
pshhh, you should hear what they dont tell you. Facebook literally sells your information constantly. And ever since the London Riots, a lot of police departments set up social networking units to crack down on organized crime. dealing, rioting, etc. ( they have a right to watch your activity online ) I deactivated mine weeks ago. Even a simple google search reveals what you posted on other peoples walls. I just tweet now, shits sooo funny and easy to stay under the radar
I know that they sell your information, everybody should know that. When you use an app for the first time, it makes you agree that FB can use your information and all that good stuff. I'm talking about how it's making it so you can track people a lot easier now, it's fucked.
Yeah it is. If you go to your account or something like that, click contacts, all of your friends cell phone numbers will appear what the fuck. i had like 2 people text me and i didn't knowthem personally. They are there for people who have fb mobile
ohh gotcha, yeah i heard you can track through the codes FB gives off from users accounts. anyone good with computers knows exactly where you are.
I'll get on every now and then and update my status with a cool quote I find. My current status is this: if we see only what we know how does anyone seen anything new I'll get on and see what my friends are up to or chit chat with my grandpa who's in Costa Rica. My friend was in Afghanistan and I looked through all his pictures and stuff like that, but I don't even "creep" on people. I don't really give a shit what some random hot chick and her friends are doing. And I don't even know HALF my friends... I went to school with them and had a few classes with them but other than that I've never even hung out with them... Although I do like that I know a lot of stoners on FB so if I'm looking I can just hit people up. They really fucked up the chat feature...
Fbook has been too creepy. When I reactivated my account the other day...under "friend suggestions" it had 3 people who I've recently met that I have zero friends in common with. So I'm assuming that these people searched for me when my account was deactivated and it still somehow acknowledged that they did this and showed them as suggestions when I reactivated my shizzz.
Its getting worse each day there's so much spam I just quit using it completely. One day I think I got about 50 people post on my wall because they clicked on some video. Too many people have no common sense and go to any website that facebook sponsors.
I have found face book to work wonderfully. I get to keep in contact with all my favorite glass artist and glass companies. It is a great networking tool if you know how to set up privacy and other such features. I do not use it for socializing because that is kinda stupid. Networking good relationship with glass artists is easy to to on facebook. no middlemen. The changes and glithes can get annoying but the other benefits out weight that IMO.
Yeah, there are way too many features like where you are, the instant feed thing and all that shit. It's too much. I don't want everyone to know what I wrote to a fellow stoner I know. But I don't really give a shit any more. I try to keep the fact that I'm a stoner away from uncles, aunts, etc., but everybody is posting anything so I might as well post smoking videos. I posted a video named High Eyes 5 (Search for it. It's the first video) because I found it funny and wanted to share it among my fellow stoners. I just hope my uncle who's a cop doesn't creep me lol.
yeah this new recent change is a straight violation of privacy.. if one of my friends post on my status then ALL OF THEIR FRIENDS could see it.. and those people on his friends list arent my friends for a reason.. wtf.. this means ex gfs and shit could be checking up through their friends.. shit's gettin out of control
