Is cork ok?

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by DankUVrymuch, Jan 31, 2011.

  1. Made one of those water bottle bong, just moved into a new house so kinda empty for materials so I carved a cork stopper from a wine bottle into a bowl ( Pain in the ass to make but it works great). was wondering if the cork is toxic at all, it doesn't really burn unless you hold te lighter to it a bit but still kinda does. Tried goolge already but u know not really a common question

  2. Is it real cork or that new weird synthetic they use and shit? All the same, I've heard its only good to smoke with hard woods (fuck off with your idiotic jokes), and cork is about as soft as you can get

If anyone makes a hard wood joke I'm finna be hardpressed to not report it

  3. Cork not recommended fr being soft or because it's dangerous? Sorry if it's obvious in your answer kinda stoned;)

  4. Because its a soft wood, I wouldn't trust it,

I've also heard that you can only use woods from certain trees because some have toxic or otherwise nasty chemicals.

Except Acacia, I encourage you to find specific species of that tree and smoke hella through them. Well actually not, it might have other stuff in it too...

  5. K thanks man
