advanced nutrients came out with a new bloom nutrient called Connoisseur. has anyone heard of it? or better yet, tried it out? it claims to give you a bigger better harvest than any other nutrient... now i know how it works...all the companies just try to hype up there product to make you wanna buy there shit. but as far as i'm aware, all the companies that make nutrients are for all plants in general, and you have to adjust the ratios according to what your growing. with the advanced hydropincs Connoisseur they are targeting marijuana growers. so maybe if the formula is made specifically for marijuana plants, that there is some truth to it. just wondering if anyone has tried it, if advanced nutrients made a damn good product for us, or if there just trying to blow smoke up are ass. this is quoted directly from the advanced nutrients website "Sure, you were ecstatic when our fertilizers gave you twice as much medical cannabis yield per light as you were getting when you used our competitors' general hydroponics fertilizers. come on, man. are you kidding? it's all about the money my friend... companies will say anything these days if it will make them a few more pennies. and it's by no means the first nute made/targeted for mj plants. i bet it works good but there are many other options that work good so do what works best for you, not what someone tells you to do. peace.
all plants do basically the same thing and they all require NPK. i seriously doubt there is any difference and if there is, its minimal. and i'm fairly sure that the increase in cost for the fert(i'm assuming its more expensive) is not worth it.
In on word Yes it is that good. And no its not hype. Cannabis mag just did a nutrient challenge between seven different fert companys and Advanced Nutrients came out on top in yeild potency and taste. Look it up its on you tube and if you go to cannabis culture mags website you can look it up there also. And yes a/n is specificly for marijuana plants and no not all plants are the same, I don't know who told you that one but its wrong. Different plants need diff nutes at diff time, the same way that marijuana likes ph almost neutral others like in more alkiline or acidic so most plants are different. A/N is the only one whom targets it for marijuana and its pretty clear if you have ever used it wich I have.
And please not to be rude but do some research before you post an oppion as a fact. Its not fair to other people whom don't know any better. I have used it and it is better than any other I have ever used hands down.

Good point Fishman....I got all excited about the video and checked the price of just one of the bloom ferts.....$77...........Oh pleeeease DO me a favour!!!! There I was on YouTube getting well into Iggy Pop and thinking I was dumb buying all that Canna....then I click through link after link after promotional video people selling and selling appearing on your screen.....finally you get the bad news..the price. One major suspicious detail about the "challenge." It was done by Advanced Nutrients themselves. So, grain of salt there. I did my own challenge last harvest and there was no difference between the Advanced lineup vs the Foxfarm lineup. I've never used the other products in the shootout. I've seen the Urban Grower talk about Advanced Nutrients specifically for weed, but their website says nothing about it. Just roses and such...
The product is pretty good, I must say and it delivered quite well as they advertise. I will say this as a grower for many years, if you use a product called F14, info@usagflorida.com, as a foliar in cunjunction with connoisseur, your buds will be mind blowing. They can stick to a wall if you want them to. By using both products, I found the resign content to be the best I have ever seen, and I've seen some pretty outrages stuff in my 30 plus years as a grower. I feel using the correct soil, adding the right major and minor packages and of course the best lighting, you will grow high potency buds. Hope this helps a little. Happy growing.
Hey I just bought AN Connoisseur. I am a small grower so if it costs an extra 35 bucks, it is worth it. I am one of those people who always will spend more cash on better ganja. This sometimes means 400-450 an O. The bottles A and B were 75 shipped. Regular Sensi is 45 dollars right? I have heard not to use the back label as it is only a dilution ratio, and it is really potent start on established plants and feed weak to begin with. To me What is spending 30 dollars once for a few harvests, rather than 450 an O right. By the way I am always striving toward quality, yield and taste. I want the best of the Best, you know the movie
Hey BillZilla420, your post got me interested, mainly because your approach to this fine herb is much like my own - I love high quality bud and don't mind forking out the cashola in order to enjoy it. So, if you don't mind, I'd love to hear what your impression has been so far... worth the extra dough? And second, this will be my first grow - do you think this stuff is too advanced for me? My set-up consists of a Stealth Oxyponics DWC bucket, a 180W LED (supplemented by a 100W HPS), AquaEuro USA 1/15 Chiller. It's all kept in a 2' X 2' X 5.5' grow tent. I've got all the gear, and I don't mind doing the homework in order to get it right.
I've used Connoisseur in my AeroFlow system. There are sooo many factors - air temp, res temp, res health, humidity, lumens, strain - that it's hard to tell which factor is your savior or undoing. I honestly can't say that I had significantly better yields than with Canna or Soul Synthetics. I can say that the people who got rich in the gold rush were the ones selling picks & shovels. I think it's always good advice to keep it simple. Feed the plants, not the retailers.
To be really "thrifty" you can use wood ash and your own urine. As for lighting get Windex and a mirror and triangulate some lumen to your beasters. FREE TO TRY. Maybe I showed up late, but this place, and every other weed related discussion board seems to have gone to shit long ago. The world is overpopulated and the shit is going to hit the fan. Internet hostility is just one step in desensitizing ourselves to other human beings, so it will be that much easier for you to squeeze the trigger when civil war breaks out over a lack of drinkable water.
