Is cold air ok to have running through intake into grow tent?

Discussion in 'Do It Yourself' started by illicithunter, Oct 12, 2014.

  1. For growing in December, January, and February is it too cold to straight intake to tent with 1000 watt light?? I know the light will need to be cooled down so I was thinking the cold air will balance out with the heat from the lamp. Any ideas???

  2. are you talking about using the cold outside air for inline light cooling, or just fresh air intake or both? ether way id say you are okay and no worries. only thing is maybe have no fresh air intake when lights are off if you are that concerned.
  3. It would be an intake to the tent only. I figured it will be so cool I won't have to cool down the light. I was gonna put it on the timer and have it on during the day with the light so it doesn't flood it with cold air 24 hours. ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1413089289.614365.jpg
