Is Cedar safe for making pipes?

  1. I have waaaay too much time on my hands so i made a nice cedar pipe, its hard as a rock and is dry but doesnt burn when i touch it with fire. Safe or not?

  6. Cedar produces natural pesticides and is resistant to rot which is why it is not safe to use in a pipe. Thats also why it is such a valuable lumber for building.
