Is being high one big daydream?

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by Bill Dauterive, Nov 20, 2014.

  1. I was reading this article and found it interesting.

Also to come to think of it I never really daydream when sober, my mind wanders off but not like when you just smoked and your thinking a billion thoughts a time and your mind is just free. Like an intense daydream which could explain the memory problem.

Im not gonna say its as black and white as smoking weed makes you daydream but this article made me think. http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2013/07/130716-daydreaming-science-health-brain/

  2. I'm not entirely sure what your question is but here's a nickle of mine..

Some strains can space you out, which can be seen as daydreaming, but in my experience a lot of the space-outs are not significantly imaginative or creative. Some strains do make you very creative (I owe a lot to this) and can encourage daydreaming. I've had experiences ranging from these two to something in between, even a complete lack of coherent thoughts.

  3. Sorry I was on a daydream when I wrote this :smoke:
