Talking about the headphones and more recently audio chips in HP desktops and laptops. I get mixed reviews. Also what are the chances they make PCI audio cards for PCs to upgrade onboard audio? I have Fata1ity Pro card now and I love it. But always exploring more..
they suck dick man i bought em for 400 dollars (the studios), returned em like a week later, they're not even close to being worth 400 dollars man, and the studios are suppose to be one of the best and they're soooo horrible, so all of them are probably just hype, don't buy em man waste of money
They're all hype, I have a friend that's really into headphones and sound quality and he basically told me they're just overpriced trash and that for 120-150$ you can get a pair of Bose or Sennheisers with similar or better quality than top of the line Beats. It's all about image really.
Overpriced. Shitty marked up chinese products... just like most bullshit these days lol i would have to be paid to use them...
I actually tried the beats headphones and they weren't that bad but I notice with most noise canceling headphones is that you need a battery in able for them to operate so without them they're basically average. Just because it's expensive doesn't mean it's going "up to par", some headphones underneath $100 provide excellent sound quality, depends on the frequency level if it's low you will get low quality headphones but if it's high then you will get mind-blowing sound. Check out CNET, they do good reviews on technology products.
The studios are alright, but they're only worth about about 100-150. All the other shit is for the dogs
I thought you were dead......... not literally but I haven't run across a recent post of yours in forever.....
Get some klipsche or sennheiser buds man, they're a wayyyyy way wayy better deal and are usually superior to Beats anyway.
overpriced just like bose, except bose is beteer sound and build quality imo. but does anyone know if the beats audio on the pcs actually do anything? I was looking at smartphones and the HTV one X had the beats audio and it looks like an interesting phone
Today I walked into best buy and bought Beats Tour. As I left the store it struck me that I had made a bad decision. I returned them, went home, and bought some ATH-M50s off amazon for the same price.

Music does sound better though, whole different story than the headphones
Yeah it's actually pretty good. I've installed Beats Audio on my Samsung Galaxy S2 and it makes everything sound so much better, and the S2 already has a great sound chip. Couple that with Voodoo Sound (if your phone supports it) and your ears will be in love.
so is it a super equalizer that i cant manually adjust myself or is it something special? ive listened to and owned myself both types of headphones and personally think bose > beats. so is there some secret behind "beats audio"?
No, you can't manually adjust it. It's either on or off. It's just one of those things that you have to try out to see whether you like it or not. I agree that Beats headphones blow, but the difference Beats Audio makes on my Samsung is like night and day.
