Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by suedeloser666, Oct 24, 2012.

  1. After looking threw a few threads on here, the consensus is that 5g is the absolute minimum for making butter. However I've definitely known people who yielded bomb-ass butter with only an eighth. Also I think it depends on how it's made... 'Mon blades, help me out. :bongin: Mucho amour!

  2. Yes. plenty, just adjust your recipe.

  3. Yes but use Coconut oil w/lecithin and it should be super legit

  4. Use coconut oil to substitute the vegetable oil? Might I ask why? I've never heard of this technique, :bongin: please explain.

  5. everybody here on grasscity say's coconut is better, just trust your fellow smokers :)

I don't know the science behind it, maybe it has higher fat content

  6. Yeah, I've been doing some digging around and it is indeed the way to go. So I'm assuming that to utilize the coconut oil one has to substitute it for using regular butter... yes?

That is correct. I would look for a recipe specifically using oil though just so there's no confusion when figuring out how much to use.
