  2. 1 watt of HPS light per 3 btu's of cooling power is the rule of thumb. Many people add 20% to that figure to account for hot days.

    There is 12,000 btu's in 1 ton of cooling. A 2 ton unit would be 24,000 btu's of cooling.

    6 gavita lights at 1100 watts each would be 6,600 watts total. 6,600 watts x 3 btu's per watt = 19,800 btu's of cooling power needed.

    I think you're just about the right size.

  3. Just noticed that you said leds. You may be a little oversized then. Oversizing isn't as much of an issue as undersizing.

  4. More than enough BTUs there, you could probably double the amount of fixtures. Definitely do so with a flip box and using the vented air from the running lights to heat the other room during its photoperiod
