is a 12-4-8 ok to use?

  1. is a 12-4-8 ok to use? or is it to much nitrogen(12 percent)
     
  2. Should be fine for veg.
     
  3. That's a lot of N. Be careful. N burns in excess.

    That will not work for budding and that much N will make it stretch.

  4. ya i def got nut burn from the nitrogen. the leaves on one plat shriveld up like a claw. there in flower as of 1 week. I flushed them with a gallon of water per plant. hopefully it will come back
     
  5. Have you checked ph? That claw thing is also a tell tale sign of something to do with lockout I think also. I could be wrong but someone might chime in.


     

  6. Hey man, for the first feeding it should always be at 1/2 or even 1/4 strength. If you gave them a full strength feeding for the first time, you most likely over fertilized them. The claw is from too much nitrogen. Your fertilizer is fine however, it is the amount you give it that was problematic.
