Is a 1036w Led Light sufficient for 3x3 grow tent?

That's probably a bit heavy for plants so I'd recommend increasing the distance between your canopy and the light. You may notice a greater effect during flower -when I've had too much light from LEDs near colas, I've had the chlorophyll bleached from the tips of the colas.

 

I have 2 of the 260w quantum boards in my 4x4 and I have them all the way at the top of the tent from beginning until end. The drivers I have are adjustable, so I don't even have them turned up all the way. I dont know for sure but I would say these plants are growing on less than 400 watts. My first grow with these lights I bleached the tops of my plants too.

No for that 3x3 id stick to 450w or grab u a 4x4 imo bud!!

I have a bestva 1000 its 180 actual watts and the 2000w bestva pulls 390 actual watts. These lights veg very well..... never tried to flower with them

 

With the 390 actual watts in a 3×3 you get 43.333 watts per square foot that's right at what you want (according to what I've read) .
Sounds like a good fit for your space.

This post is old i know but i did some research on the bestva 2000w and it would be best for a 5x5 tent i also found a cheap one of those 5x5s on amazon for like 180 so i would check into it if you have the space for that size tent its worth it you can have it like that or ive thought about getting a 8x8 for my basement and splitting it in two with a light proof material inbetween because you can get a 8x8 indoor for cheap then put the light you already got in one side and get your lower watt veg lights shove em in the other side and boom now you can make clones keep one mother that will be able to get huge do some outdoor or something some time and always have clones for the bloom side with the massive 2000w bestva that will work well and you will always have clones so just take em even if you fomt need them to clear some room in the veg tent if you have to you dont always need to save your clones in a setup like that after the first two months you can have up to 250 clones not saying you will its all what you do if you top it slows growth but not much so if you do it at the right time your good and you will be able to get a really bushy mom or let her stretch and your shorter plants will be able to fit around the mom but will get less light because she will block her babys if shes bushy at the top so up to who ever sees this to decide but i think the thing would do well although having such a big tent you might as well just make your whole room into a veg room and split that for a flower side ive seen that done just board up light leaks from windows and put a few 1000watts in you can veg a mother proper in there with 4 1000watts placed in a square basement or what not but if you domt have ballists you can run into power issues so thats always a cost too plus making the whole room takes away from you having an extra space so to be really smart about it take your time vegging and making the strains you want then get them into seed from there all you need to do is find a good outdoor area and plant as many as you want if you are allowed too aha dont go to someone elses property to do a huge guerilla grow or anything but as lomg as theres no males near and you used collidial silver to make all fems you can set up an irrigation system and montior that from the comfort of your own home by setting up some technical things on your computer with pumps and shit to make sure that when it rains your system stays off and or just put em out there and do the manual labour it will be all the best when you come around time to harvest but make sure you arent telling people about your crops because outdoors tend to get ripped if you talj about them with thieves aha but tbh doing it that way is the qay to go or just go out of the way to make enough cahs to buy a small house with a huge barn thats the perfect desguise for a grow op i mean how often do people go into some old barn not often... You dexide its your grow tho the lights would be fine if you had more height i would say thats why i dont like buying my tents i like making them from 2x2s or 4x4s depends on if they are indor or outdoor and i just wrap it with these huge rolls of plasric i get from work they are tyvek and are lightproof especially after you put in a layer of reflective material i used a few in the past ive used car windshield things i just bought a shit ton of those and stapled them to the fram of the wood and then i usually use some sort of board if i need a vent and charcoal filter for indoor tents i just add that last and i cut the hole through the wood planks first i find it way cheaper and i like building shit so making these tents is a good side hobby for my main one aha but really if your having trouble figuring out how to setup yout lights or really anything you should just trial and error after seeing peoples responses ive seen a few stupid ass people just follow what others say and have huge consiquenses because it was completly wrong i seen one guy loose a whole crop because of this he was having problems with the ph he was thinling but really he was using to much nutes and peoe kept saying it was ph problems not really funny when all your plants burn and die because no one told you to cut down the nutes or flush next water and change nutes dont follow ever answer thats all anyways happy growing hopefully you got this figured out and any others who stumble upon it.
