Is 3400watts enough for room 8x8?

    3 Over head 1000's HPS with sheilds and 2 200watt MH bulbs for side lighting.

    Heat is no concern, that's all taken care of.

    Would you suggest another 1000 HPS on the top?

    Grow room is 8'x9'x8' roughly.

    most 1k watt HPS have a PRIMARY lighting area of 6' and secondary up up to 10' what you've got is right on the money bro.

    2400 watts would more then do a room that size.
