got a little one going in veg at 19 days in soil... ive been using 4 26 watt cfl blu spec. for 24/0 just wondering what effect a maybe 8-10 hour break in light could do to her?ex.(power outage). and just out of cuoriosity... does the plant grow at all during a dark period like this? like without light? my assumption is it will grow for at least a few hours off of stored energy right??
I don't think it would be too much of a problem Some people do 18/6 so an occasional break of the light cycle shouldn't cause much trouble I think the plant does 'grow' in the dark period It's only not photosynthetic and referencing the 'stored energy' you are speaking of it's the nutrients and sugars from photosynthesis?
