Well, originally it was us assisting them in Syria but I know that's not what you meant. Committed? We'll see, Obambo is pretty red and will "not rule anything out". They wanted us gone, needed no help. Then their President implemented a government that is too powerful and it pretty much excludes the Sunnis. As early as last year he was asking for manned and unmanned air support, but is unwilling to work towards a more inclusive government. He made his bed.
