is it true? can you take a pic every half sec with the new iphone? all in all... i took 40 pics in 23 secs. freakin amazing.
Takes me back to 'Nam! The constant, quick flash of the camera is just like the Vietcong machine gun nests. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5gHiR1xeOSs]Alice In Chains-Rooster - YouTube[/ame]
I just can't figure out how this is a selling point. My Samsung Infuse 4G can do the exact same thing in continuous shot mode. Just hold down the shutter button and it'll keep snapping pics until you're out of room. Many phones can do this nowadays
iPhone 4s is cool and all and would be a good upgrade from my iphone 3G... but I'd hate to dish out $649 on an unlocked 16GB 4s...
many phones cannot do it with 1//2 second intervals. as a matter of fact, i doubt any other smartphone can do that. or any point and shoot for that matter with a price tag of 300 or less. the selling pont is being able to do it, and the fun involved while doing it. you capture more shots and you are more likely to get that perfect shot. the flagship gs2 is able to snap with 1.2 sec intervals. i doubt the software in your infuse will be any different. but i have been wrong more than once, today might not be any different. why must you get unlocked?
That's the beauty of the Android ROM community. You can literally push the phone's hardware to the max with a custom OS build. My Infuse does indeed take pics at 0.5 second intervals. I'm not running a stock build, however
i looked around the best i could before i opened my mouth. i saw some apps that could be added to rooted android phones. but i could not find timing specs. hence the reason i left myself the 'been wrong before' out. lol. thanx for being kind about it and not trolling my thread.
thats too bad. i thought i was going to have to pay 449 for my 16 gig 4s. lucky for me i am on a family plan with my mother and gma. i used my mothers upgrade to buy the phone and then switched it over to mine and then gave her my old i4. was quite the nice surprise.
I can take 60 pics in 1 second with any phone. It's called video capture. Slowing down videos and calling it taking pictures is silly and I can't believe how stupid people can be. If your phone can take 1080p videos, just take the fucking video. Why would anybody want 40 photos of the same fucking thing?
I use continuous shot, combined with a high shutter speed, for action shots. Sure, a video would work too, but I would have to pause every frame until I got whichever shot I wanted. With continuous shot I'm bound to get the shot I want eventually, with little to no work at a computer
30fps not 60. video does not produce still shots. and if you take a still of the video, it isnt anywhere near as good. u take 40, pic out the best couple pics and delete the rest. old fuckers these days. my brother with my pup. a couple pics.... are priceless. the others... deleted.
Just take the right photo the first time. It isn't hard, we had to do it before digital cameras came out.
Most film SLRs also had the wonderful option of continuous shot, so long as the film speed was high enough For a photographer, sometimes it's impossible to get the shot you want the first time, especially with action shots
