PH goes UP and PPM goes DOWN..is this good? I DIDN'T EVEN MENTION EC! i'VE SEARCHED.. I have a BlueLab PPM pen and ph meter but trying to figure it out is driving me banannas!
None of those actions are necessarily good or bad. Some substances are acidic and more in a liquid (higher PPM) will make it more acidic (pH goes down). Some substances are alkaline and more in a liquid (higher PPM) will make it more alkaline (pH goes up). Whether the pH going up or down is good or bad depends on what the pH is beforehand and what you want the liquid's pH to be. Welcome to GrassCity
