Greetings! I live in Oregon and legally grow in my back yard; this is my first time growing but I've always had a green thumb with other plants I have a couple kush plants in my back yard that are doing very well. Here are the pics As you can see our tomato plants are over six feet tall so there's something they like in the soil. I have only used an organic fertilizer 4-6-3. I really haven't used it much because of how healthy the plants are. I built the soil out of compost, chicken manuer and top soil. Should I continue with this, or swith over to a chemical fertilizer like 10-52-10? The reason I ask is because a buddy of mine who's been at this for a long time swears on the stuff and he always produces good product.
For veg you want nitrogen heavy nutes. During flower switch to K heavy for first few weeks and then P heavy before the flush. If your buddy swears by it you can give it a shot but that ratio seems potentially strong. Just my thoughts Cheers
