Update About Advertising on Grasscity Important: A New Chapter for Grasscity

internet connectivity help

    just hoping someone has some pointers.



    on my other computer, ever since earlier today, when i try to sign on to msn, it says its blocked, by the program Zone Alarm, which is a firewall type deal.


    now ive tried turning the firewall completely off, turned off the program, unplugged my modem a few times. nothing seems to work.


    and the problem seems to have started after i tried to use Xbox Connect to play some Halo online today (never got it working, it kept saying the server was blocked...)




    hope someone has an idea?!?

    Never had mine say that. I had to go in and run a repair before I got a router, but nothing that blocked a server

    The Zone Alarm is never off completely. You have to uninstall it. :-\

    The program trying to access the internet may be blocked by Zone Alarm, to allow traffic to flow again you need to allow traffic in settings before it will work. Now if you don't want it to be on when you start your computer go to Start->Run, type in msconfig, hit enter. Now, tab to over to Startup and go scroll tell you see something in it with Zone Alarm and disable it. Restart and you should be good.
