Internationals Blue Mammoth/climax Grow

Discussion in 'Indoor Grow Journals' started by InternationalHarvester, Jun 17, 2014.

  1. Hello fellow Blades!

Any and all advice is welcomed here.

My original intent (no pun intended) was to have a 4 x 4 grow tent, but due to limited to space I have had to drop it back temporarily to a 2 x 4. I am currently running the Solar Storm 880w, which was meant to be in the 4 x 4. I am currently growing a Blue Mammoth Auto and a CH9 Climax Auto. I started out with 2 Blue Mammoths but my cat decided it was ready to be topped. Here is a quick over view.

    2 x 4 Gorilla Grow Tent
    Phresh Carbon Filter
    880w SS
    5 gal equiv Air Pots
    8" Hyper Fan
Intake- Attached "Y" Joint in ac run with damper

*There is still negative pressure even with the active intake. Needed to get the temps down

May 24- Blue Mammoth Seeds In Coco
    May 30- Cat Tops Plant
    May 31- CH9 Climax Soak
    June 1- Light Watering-Tap
    June 2- CH9 Breaks Ground
June 7- Water, Under the SS-Hardening Off
June 12- Water with Nutes 280ppm
June 15- Blue Mammoth begins LST

  2. I have since fixed the temps, it no longer gets higher than 82.

  3. looks cool im inn :)

  4. Subbin in. Your LST looks so aggressive in that pic. Got anything else in that tent? I bet the baby ASD could take the SS if you put her on the ground.

  5.
    Thanks for dropping in.

I told you it was aggressive. I am going to bring in the ASD tomorrow.

  6. The girls had a busy day today. I dropped the SS 30" from the tops and did some light lst on the Blue Mammoth.

    Today's Feeding:
    CNS 17 Ripe/ Cal Mag - 340 ppm

  7. Hope everyone had a good weekend!

The Blue Mammoth seemed to like the feeding and the Climax shows signs of a slight burn. I gave them some distilled water today so lets see if they bounce back quickly. Not much to report on with the ASD, I took her out of the tent and have had her under a cfl for the past few days but she will be going back in tomorrow.

Looking good man. When you water the plain coco (not the coco loco) you want to aim for a pH of about 5.8. I will accept anything from about 5.4-6.0 though. 6.7 will probably lead to some lockout.

Also on your plain water days you can hit em with a little silica and calmag per AskEd's advice.

  9.
Thanks for the tips! I remember you mentioning about tap water's ph rising in ph after you adjusted it, so it started at 6.9 ph straight from the faucet, I then phd it to 5 (trying to anticipate the rise), set aside some to later test which came out to 6.7. Maybe I should look at getting a RO filter after all.

I will start adding protekt and calmag on my water only days.

  11. Hello All,
The two autos both went into flower so I flipped the SS over to bloom mode.

  12. Hows the little Amherst doing? What are you feeding them now? Is that burn on the tips of new growth or just my eyes?

    Feeding at 400ppm
Cal Mag, Rhizotonic, Pro Tekt, CNS 17 Grow

Your eyes serve you well, they burned slightly so I pulled back, now they seem to be hungry.

The ASD is coming along just fine, she wants a bigger home soon though.

*Edit- I adjusted the exposure on these pictures, I noticed this last picture might appear to be deficient.

  15. Trying to get some better pictures on here.

  16. What's up blades, hope everyone had a bangin 4th. Murica!  B)
Flushed the Blue Mammoth and Climax and hit it at 450 ppm.

    Feed:
    Cal Mag
    Rhizotonic
    ProTekt
    CNS 17 Bloom

I did some light training on the BM to allow for more light penetration. She is going slower than the Climax but I think she will be a bigger yielder. Threw 5 Moonshine Haze beans (reg) in solo cups.

  17. Chow Bella,

The girls are doing well, they are starting to smell pretty good. 3/5 Moonshine Hazes have sprouted, but I did plant the other two a couple of days later so I am fairly confident that we will get 5 for 5 germination, hopefully two of them turn out to be pretty ladies.

  18. The seedlings in coco loco did a lot better than the other coco I used, (which was pretty low quality coco, used for reptile bedding). I have some botanicare coco that I am going to use when I transplant the Moonshine Haze.

  19. You are feeding them well and pH in is good, but the BM is looking a little funky in places. It might be time for a good flush. Are you still feeding bloom or switched to ripe?

  20. Yea I am still on bloom, I flushed on the 4th, do you think I should flush again? I agree the BM has three different shades of green.
