I've just had three power out's in the past 3 hours only a couple of minutes each time but my HPS has to be off for 10 minutes or I risk blowing the element, so I've had three 10 minute gaps in the lighting. Wot kind of trouble could it cause if any???
yeah i get a lot of cuts when it storms here...i doesnt seem to do the plants any harm at all...course if the powers off for a few days thats a diffrent story.... i get the idea it dont do the bulbs much good....i change mine yearly anyway...give or take...

i also have heard that...and after the third time it happened...fuck that... been growing nearly 2 years now and ive never lost a ballast or had a bulb pop...tho when they get older they can sometimes not fire back up properly....then its change bulb time...that bulb was 3 yrs old...
