  4. the doors of perception - inspired Jim Morrison

  5. Slaughterhouse-Five
    by Kurt Vonnegut

  6. That book is NOT inspired by Jim Morrison. He was what... around ten or something when Huxley wrote it...

  7. Chariots of the Gods by Erich von Däniken. Very interesting book that gets you to think.
Or, if you would rather read something that you will learn something from I would suggest, The Handy Astronomy Answer Book by Charles Liu. It has everything from info about what ancient civilizations know about the universe to how the entire universe was made.

  8. Chill, the dude wrote that it inspired Morrison. Not that Morrison inspired the book.

  9. Desolation Angels by Jack Kerouac

A Season in Hell by Arthur Rimbaud

Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintainace by Robert Pirsig

    The Idiot by Fydor Dosteovsky

    Some of my favs.
