Instrumental Hip Hop

  1. I love instrumental hip hop. It's so chill and when I'm high I just think about my life and all these thoughts flood my mind. Check out Kan kick, Maker, Oddisee and Floyd the Locsmif. Feel free to post your favorite and cool songs.

everyone should check out Madlib's Beat Konducta series, Vol. 1-6

Vol 1-2 (Movie Scenes) is amazing.

Vol 3-4 (Beat Konducta In India) is crazy. All Indian beats, it's got most of the beats that were used in "The Ecstatic" album that Mos Def just dropped not too long ago.

Vol. 5 and 6 are more jazz-oriented. These are my
    favorite.

Madlib has a shitload of instrumental tapes floating around the Internet, grab as many as you can.

Edit: Dont sleep on Pete Rock, Hi-Tek, El-P or RJD2 either.

  18. indeed madlib is the shit:smoking:

check out bonobo if you dig madlib

  19. indeed, i have just about every song/beat he's ever released
