Insomnia and Chronic Daily Migraines?

    Well I have been dealing with insomnia and daily migraines for years now, the pills they have me use, make me sick, the sleeping pills, don't work. I was just wondering if in Maine, you can get medical marijuana for these problems, I'm sick of living on pills, and I'm about to throw them all away, I can't stand them. I hate getting a migraine, taking my stupid pill, and feeling very sick, wanting to throw up, not being able to eat. I hate not sleeping at night, I smoke just so my migraines will go away, and so I can sleep.

    I smoke when I get a headache, and usually it goes away, and I don't feel sick. I smoke right before bed, and I sleep fine, there are some days I don't. But I would like to know if in Maine, I can get medical marijuana for these problems, thank you.

    also, yes. I started using MJ for fun and later to help me deal with insane mom bullshit

    example: I locked myself in my room to read a book. my mom couldn't stand me being in a locked room from the inside. She took a knife, spent 20 min unscrewing the whole doorknob, finally dismentled the whole thing and told me not to lock myself in the room again couse if a fire starts I will die.(we had no fire alarm in that room but we live in a 1 bedroom apartment with the alarm about 10 yards away)

    is this normal? I was 16 at the time
