Insides of leaves turning yellow and curling up?

  1. Alright, so I'm growing Lowryder 2 in an aerogarden. This is my first attempt ever. I only have one plant going. Sure, it could turn out to be a male and I'll have to start over, aerogardens aren't that great for yield, blah blah blah. I know. I just wanted to get the hang of growing with an idiot proof system (apparently not lol) and an easy plant. Anyway, I first noticed this a couple days ago and now I'm a little worried. As you can see in the pictures, the new leaves are somewhat yellow and the edges are starting to curl up. It's been about 9 days since the seed germinated. I have it on a 18/6 schedule. There is an extra airstone in the reservoir. I changed the water in the reservoir a few days ago (changing it once a week). Both the times I pH corrected the water even though I'm not using nutrients yet. I corrected to around 6.0 with a general hydroponics pH control kit. It's spring water. I have a small 4" fan blowing towards the plant but not directly on it, but it still moves around a little bit because of the airflow. Once again, I'm not using any nutrients. What could this be and what should I do?

Ignore the last one, I'm not sure why it uploaded a duplicate.

  2. Feed the plant, other than that all is normal, the plant is still too young to give you a visual diagnosis, just be very cautious of overfeeding.

  3. Ok, I just added a 1/8th strength dose.

  4. Yea man, everything looks to be ok. New growth comes out lighter in color.
