inside to outside

I have placed a plant into flowering, I want to move it outside because the sunlight is just perfect outside with a 12/12 cycle. Now i was woundering since my light cycle inside is dark when the sun is out and light when the sun is set, should I just leave it totally dark for 24 hours then put it outside in the morning.
