[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxLBywKrTf4"]YouTube- Broadcast Yourself.[/ame] as a south korean american, this documentary brought tears to my eyes. everyone is literally brainwashed and taught to live in fear. a group of scientists get into north korea to perform free eye surgery on blind north koreans, mainly as a result of malnutrition. when people get their visions back, they immediately believe that it resulted from the good doings of kim jong il and start saluting his pictures on the wall. one guy in the end even says with his revived eyes, he'll pick up a rifle and shoot as many americans as he can. how can an entire nation have this kind of mentality? even after the death of kim, it seems hopeless for north korea. how many people really have pride? and how many live in fear? if annihilation is the only way for a new start, im all for it. this shit has got to stop.
Annihilation for who? The NK or USA? No need to mention the SK. They're already dead anyway. I think the NKs are the last unique nation left on Earth. One of its kind. Nothing like it. I thought CUBA was similar, but no... Cuba and NK are not the same. NK much more hardcore.
That's so sad. Not sad that they hate us because that's fine, but sad because they don't truly hate us, they just think they do. If that even makes sense They're better robots than Johnny 5...Johnny 5, still alive..
Let's take this in another perspective. Literally in every sense a living model of the works from George Orwell- "1984". They all work as one, they are happy and blissfully ignorant, working loyally for their country and their leader. In a moral and social perspective this system is beautifully succesful.
I think the REAL Korean spirit is in the North. Although the South has done well to achieve what they've achieved, but the One-minded spirit the North is showing is most impressive. And I think that was how the Koreans were before modernization. Believe in a doctrine, and follow it to the dot. That's what they were doing with 'Yoo Kyo' before Communism and Democracy came in.
The North Koreans are amazingly educated, and I believe many scientific break-throughs can be bred here.

What do you guys think if we provided them with some crop / vegetation that provided better results than what they're yielding ? We can't be afraid of our own shadow forever...I think we should show compassion to the people ...as I do all around the world though. Even though NK's being led by a crazy...it's not their fault. They deserve a beautiful life of choice - but they've never been given one.
that depends on your defination of blow it up. we have enough to kill all life on earth because of fallout and nuclear winter but the earth will still be here we dont have enough to "blow it up"

south korea, the US and few other nations have even donated money to help feed the poor in north korea. but what what does kim do with the money? he bought more weapons. but still, is NK a real global threat? fuck no. theyre like a little mosquito that needs to get put out before it stings. i believe it should happen rather sooner than later... as i see no hope otherwise.
