Insecticides and heavy rain

  1. Insecticides don't have time to settle and just wash away when it's pouring off and on all day and the bugs just come back the next day. So what are some good ways to keep the bugs away if it's raining heavily?

  2. are you using neem oil?

it actually penetrates the plant cellular structure, I realize that with all your rain it will be difficult to apply but since its oil based it doesnt wash off that easy, just keep applying, every day, till you get a day where it actually has time to penetrate properly

  3. So any kind of neem seed oil will work? Are there any references on how to apply/how much to use? Do they carry neem oil at hydro stores?

  4. http://www.biconet.com/botanicals/70NeemOil.html

there are several brands just be certain its 70% or better

3 tablespoons per gallon of water......... add 3-4 drops of dishsoap....spray the plant, underside of the leaves in particular.....drench the plant, spray every 3 days, till your issues are under control
