Insecticide help needed

  1. Ok, so im just starting my first plant and i've done alot of research. I have some worm castings and some good organic soil. I have a metal fence around my plant so no rodents can get in, but what im mainly woried about are the bugs ive seen around here. I know my plant will get attacked.

Heres my question. Is there a way to ORGANICALLY have a pesticide that keeps bugs away all day? like, i spray it in the morning, and by the afternoon, bugs still wont wanna go near my plant.

thats what i want. I dont wanna have to spray my plant with garlic remedy, and then have the bugs just come back in 3 hours, while im at school.

I know garlic, cayanne peppers, dish soap, and water work, and thats a really strong insecticide. but im just wondering if that is a long lasting spray or is it just designed to kill the bugs on contact.

Are there any store bought organic insecticde that keep bugs away all day?

  2. azamax or azatrol. spray once a week. can be sprayed up to day you harvest. best used as a preventative. but will suffocate most bugs on contact.

  3. Insecticidal Soap. You will find it in the garden center of any Walmart, Lowes, or Home Depot. 100% organic...its Salts of Potassium Fatty Acids. It also is safe to spray on any edible foods up to the day of harvest. It has a half life of 1 day. Meaning in 1 day after you spray it it breaks down to its components and is gone.

I use it all the time when I water. I actually spray my plants and soil with it. Been doing that for years now. It kills a huge swatch of insects. What it does is rapidly dehydrate them...no crazy toxin.

Highly suggested. All the brands of it are the same and should be easily found since Organic Farming is popular everyone carries it. Cheap to 5 dollars for a bottle of it.

It will require you to spray though every other day or so if you having a problem.
