Insanity Workout from Beach Body Log

  1. Hey guys. I have decided to try out the Insanity workout. I bought it off ebay and got a good price for it. Well here it goes, in 60 days I will post up before and after pics.

    I will add in weights into the routine like 1-2 times per week.

    I will post up diet too if any cares

    Supplements are fish oil multi, Torrid ECA stack fat burner, and a post workout shake.

    Cals are going to be 2500 a day.

    I will not drink alcohol but still enjoy the herb during this 60 days.
     
  2. Today I did pure cardio which was killer. I really like the workouts but Insanity is mostly cardio.

    It was a 5 minute warm up which kills me every time.
    then 5 minutes stretching

    30 minutes of cardio jumping around kicking your ass type shit

    5 minutes cool down stretching.

    It doesn't do much for muscles as in building them. Tonight I am going to do p90X workout with weights.

    Just make sure you are not over training yourself. Because in the end result this may hurt you more then help
     
  5. It takes a ton to over train. P90X is basically just weights, and Insanity is pretty much just cardio. So to me it's the same as going to gym and lifting for 45 min than doing cardio. I know my body too and when I am getting to worn down.
     
  6. I was doing Insanity with my girlfriend for a while until she got shin-splints :[. But in reality, weight lifting + aerobics/anaerobics will produce much better results than Insanity. He uses unconventional interval training which will work out your heart more than it will burn fat.
     
  7. today is my rest day which is good. I did bench and pull-ups yesterday after my insanity workout, and I am really sore today. Loving the results so far. And you will lose weight using this program, it's silly to think it will only help your heart.

    I finished the first month, been running lately, thinkin of starting the 2nd month monday...
